Sensation Breastplate - $125  (Western Style), $115 (Hunt Style)

The Sensation Breastplate is available in English and Western styles and can be made to match your saddle with contrasting lining or as a solid color.

This breastplate combines the best of all of what we feel are important features to have in a breastplate. It mates ideally with any of the Sensation Ride saddles and permits full use and freedom of the saddle along with the safety of a limited side and rearward slip when riding over vigorous terrain or when the girth becomes loose.

The Harmony Bridle now comes in two styles. Each have removable leather liners which are available in various colors to match saddles and can come with SS or Brass fittings. Both feature the ability to be used as sidepull, halter, bosal action, bitted with noseband, and bitted without noseband.

Both bridles feature much adjustability and can be ordered in small or large sizes. The large size will fit the average horse from Arabian to Draft while the small size is for ponies, smaller headed Arabians and smaller headed Quarter Horses.

Granite Harmony Bridle is made of Granite biothane which is the strongest yet thinnest biothane available. It features Cross-Over pieces below the chin and does not have bit-hangers as standard. It is only available in charcoal black. The thinness of the Granite allows a quick release with the Cross-Over piece. The Harmony Bridle is $115, optional bit-hangers are $20 and recommended browband liner is $15.

Beta Harmony Bridle is made with Beta biothane which is softer than Granite and not quite as strong. It is available in a wide selection of colors including browns and brights to match your gear. The Beta Harmony Bridle is $135. Bit-Hangers are standard and it doesn't come with the Cross-Over piece, although we can special order it with a charcoal black granite Cross-Over piece for $20. A browband liner to cover the handy velcro, $15 is recommended.

Sensation Girth ($85-100 depending upon liners chosen)

The “Sensation Ride" self-centering girth mates ideally with the "Sensation" treeless saddles, and also very well with any saddles which have the 4-billet girthing system. A limited stretch center portion extends the life of the center elastic which it is paired with. Self-aligning ends with buckles which free-float between themselves ensure that the pull exerted on the billets of the saddle is equalized, as well as aligned correctly for each horse it is used on.

CARE:

• Wash liner by hand when soiled – keeping liner next to horse clean will ensure horse's comfort.
• Main body of girth may be soaked in a bucket with mild detergent and hung to dry.

Skito Sensation Saddle Pads (Dryback shown)

Forest Horse recommends using the Skito pad with your Sensation or other treeless saddles. They are available in a variety of colors and options to fit you and your horse and the contour of your saddle. The Dryback with 100 percent wool fleece backing is $220 and the regular Skito with 3/4 inch foam and 100 percent wool backing is $155. Shims and additional inserts if needed may be extra.

Both the original Skito and the Dryback are designed with a contoured shape with 2 inserts, one on each side of the spine, creating a channel for the horse's backbone. The workmanship is excellent and the inserts are an open-cell foam that mitigates shock while providing support for the saddle.

"DRYBACK" is an Equalizer® Saddle Pad by Skito that is constructed to release heat and moisture from the large back muscle to the atmosphere. Air flows between the saddle and saddle pad thanks to the addition of 3M™ Nomad™ matting to the top of the saddle pad. Simply put, the exclusive Skito wool/poly fleece efficiently wicks the heat-laden perspiration to the open cell foam insert, which acts as a dense sponge pulling moisture and heat away from the animal to the surface of the pad. In the past the heat and moisture stopped in the top layer of the saddle pad because the saddle became an obstacle to transpiration. The addition of Nomad™ matting enables air to flow under the saddle to evaporate the moisture and dissipate the heat normally trapped against the saddle.

Nomad™ is an open vinyl loop construction matting produced by 3m™ for building entrance foot traffic. The durability to withstand thousands of footsteps assures that Nomad™ will withstand the rigors of saddle impact and wear. The thickness of the matte and looseness of loop provides maximum airflow to facilitate evaporation. Added benefits of Nomad™ are shock absorption and reduced slippage between the saddle and saddle pad.

Skito Sensation Saddle Pad (without Dryback)

"Burr" Saddle Pad ($320  CAD)

The "Burr" pad is a marriage of materials which provide the best available breath ability a saddle pad can possess. We did not compromise on cushioning or features which make this saddle pad adaptable to various hose shapes and usage conditions.

The combination of hospital felt and 3M Nomad matting backed with a wool melton fabric are unique to the Burr saddle pad. A cushioning insert of open cell foam ensures that the breathable nature of the other materials is not compromised.
